A leading 6* resort in Abu Dhabi are looking for a Resort Manager to lead and manage all tourism related activities, transfers and reservations. The successful applicant is ultimately responsible for ensuring that every client experiences the most positive experience from time of arrival to time of departure and a small team of operations staff. Applicants must have a background in the travel industry and will have experience as a tours manager with a well respected tour operator, Destination Management Company or similar position within the tourism field. The client offers an excellent basic salary to £48,000, relocation assistance, free accommodation & meals, annual air ticket home plus more. Fancy a job that keeps you outdoors, healthy and tanned?? A leading travel organisation in Abu Dhabi are in the process of completing a 6* luxury eco friendly development. They are looking for 15 Activity Officers who can assist and accompany wealthy clients with snorkeling, safari trips, walks, mountain biking and kayaking. Main duties will be to liaise with the activities and management team in identifying existing and new activities to ensure that visitors/guests experience the rustic beauty of the island including the animals, plants, birdlife, marine life, archeology and history of this amazing new attraction. Other duties include: *Identify, review and research tourism activities, submitting recommendations for improvements and/or new inclusions *Advise on the quality of the delivery and interpretation of the activities including the quality of the equipment *Review the systems and procedures adopted, activities reservations, land and marine transfers, etc; *Develop and maintain operations manual and all associated procedures and documentation, pertaining to Island's activities *Obtain customer feedback, collate data and present reports to management on Visitor's experience relating to activities *Review accuracy and completeness of information provided for activity bookings to ensure details are correctly passed to the Activity Coordinator for his briefing to the Activities Facilitators *Prepare and maintain all operating procedures for the activities and their Reservations fully up to date. Candidates MUST have the following skills to be shortlisted for the position: *Experience in a tourism related field or in the operations of a tourism related activity *Diploma in Tourism and/or hospitality is preferred *Certificate in Health and Safety preferred *A passion for the outdoors *Be extremely well presented, highly motivated and have an outgoing nature *Superb communication skills The role may suit someone who has worked in overseas representation, with a tour operation, resort or destination.
