  • (Hospitality) CHEF for English Restaurant & Functions

Rate: GBP   Location: Bridlington, North Humberside

Job Description Experienced restaurant operators looking for chef(s) for our newly acquired Bridlington outlet. You will initially be prepping and cooking meals for a lounge bar and restaurant. We have huge plans for this village pub-restaurant which is located on the edge of Bridlington, on a main road. We plan major refurbishment after the New Year and need to expand our team immediately. After refurbishment we shall also offer a superb banqueting and function service, of which you will be an integral part. If you are creative, can devise exciting new dishes and perhaps help assemble attractive menus, this is the ideal job for you. We won't be dressing up foam, ice or bits of seaweed; nor shall we be sending food out on odd bits of building materials! We shall be offering REAL food, cooked properly and served on traditional plates, so as to best highlight YOUR work. You must take pride in your food and will want to help keep a clean kitchen, fully compliant with H&S regulations and one you can be proud to invite customers into. We want our staff to be happy, friendly and enjoy their work, while preparing food to the highest standards. Not quite up to this role yet? --------------------------------------- We also have a vacancy for a keen assistant chef who wants to learn the business properly. We can offer a broad practical training programme plus a chance to finish your college courses while getting paid! Write to us immediately, telling us where you are in your career now and where you would like to progress to. We have already set over two dozen chefs off on their chosen careers, so we really do know what you need. Seven of our former trainees now have their own restaurants, and one is running a major national chain! Company Description Small family-run experienced restauranteurs and pub operators.
