The Indian Geographical Society, the oldest society for Geography in India, celebrates its 80th Year now and in this context, in association with the Department of Geography, Sri Krishnadeveraya University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India, it holds an international conference during November 25-27, 2006 in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India on Natural Hazards and Disasters: Local to Global Perspectives.
We are happy to invite the geographers, geologists, environmental scientists and others from all over the world to take part in the conference and celebrations. It will be very exciting to have all of them with us in November 2006.
