The 2008
International Symposium on Sport, Exercise & Leisure will be held on May 12-13,
2008 in Shijiazhuang, China. This Symposium is organized by Kent State
University and Hebei Normal University, and co-sponsored by Journal of Sport & Leisure.
SYMPOSIUM THEME: Sharing the scholarship of curriculum and instruction in sport,
exercise and leisure among Western and Eastern educators
SYMPOSIUM AIM: Critical courses, new curriculum designs and innovative
instructional methods in sport, exercise and leisure
SYMPOSIUM FEATURES:
The Symposium will feature presentations, roundtable discussions, workshops, keynote
presentations, student research exhibition, and a post-symposium-tour of cultural attractions and
Olympics venues in Beijing
SYMPOSIUM PARTICIPANTS: Participants of the Symposium
include academics,
graduate and undergraduate students, as well as education policy makers from
around the world
Abstracts are welcome on topics related to
curriculum and instruction in sport, exercise and leisure. Abstract should be
