About the conference
The aim of the conference is
to provide tourism scholars, practitioners, and other stakeholders with an
opportunity to explore and debate contemporary and future issues relating to the
planning and management of event and cultural tourism. This conference offers a unique
networking opportunity for scholars, industry experts, practitioners, government
officials and policy makers to exchange ideas and information.

Publication Opportunities
The conference’s official languages are English and
Turkish. English-Turkish translation will be simultaneously at the conference.
Therefore conference presentations will be both in English and Turkish, but all
submissions will be in English.
Accepted
papers will be included in the conference proceedings book. This will be
published professionally in printed and/or electronic form, and will be given to
participants during the conference.
Each registered delegate will receive one free copy.
Authors of selected
conference papers will have the opportunity to have their work published in a
special issue of the Journal of
Hospitality Marketing & Management.

Abstract & Full
Paper Submissions
Abstracts should be no
more than 500
words
in
length,
excluding references.
All
abstracts will be subject to a double blind peer review process. Presented
papers will be evaluated by the conference scientific committee and those
considered to be making an outstanding contribution to the field of culture and
event tourism will be honored by the “best paper award” at our gala
dinner.
