5th World Conference for Graduate Research in Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure
Cappadocia, Turkey, 25-30 May 2010
Further to the success of the preceding conferences held in Canakkale
and Antalya, we are delighted to announce that the 5th World Conference
for Graduate Research in Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure will be
hosted in Cappadocia, Turkey, 25-30 May 2010.
In addition to all paper, dissertation and thesis presentations, the
conference also includes a panel where the speakers will discuss the
interdisciplinary nature of tourism research and how this may widen the
border of tourism either as a complementary or supplementary part of
social sciences.
The confirmed invited speakers of this panel include:

Professor Jafar Jafari
Professor Richard Butler
Professor Egon Smeral
Commencing from 2010, the organising committee has decided to establish four awards in the following categories:
Jafar Jafari Recognition Award
Best Paper Award
Best PhD Dissertation Award
Best Masters? Thesis Award
The deadline for ABSTRACTS is 1 November 2009 and FULL PAPERS is 15 January 2010.
All abstracts should be written in English and must be no more than 200
words in length. All submissions will be subject to a double-blind
review and published in the refereed conference proceedings. There will
be also an additional range of post-conference publication
opportunities in a form of special issues of various tourism and
hospitality journals.
