United Nations University's Summer Academy 2009 in Germany
The fourth MRF Summer Academy on Social Vulnerability
"Tipping Points in Humanitarian Crisis"
Call for Applications extended until the 31.st of JnauaryApplications are accepted until 31 January 2009.
Like in the previous years, around 20 international PhD candidates will
get the opportunity to take part in the academy to present and discuss
their research on social vulnerability with senior scientists and
experts at the Hohenkammer Castle, outside Munich, from 26 July to 1
August 2009.
The Munich Re Foundation and the United Nations University Institute
for Environment and Human Security proudly announce this years summer
academy. The event will be chaired by the current Chair/Director of the
2009 Academy, Prof. Dr. Thomas E. Downing, and Co-director Mohamed
Hamza.
