ABSTRACTS/SHORT PAPERS

The aim of this workshop is to bring together
scholars and researchers with an interest in the interaction between ICT and
Tourism with an emphasis on Sustainability. The workshop is designed to
facilitate the sharing of ideas on all aspects of the topic and to
encourage/facilitate innovative and in-depth analysis with a view to downstream
practical applications and outcomes.
Participants may engage with the workshop in
a variety of ways with or without presentation. Options include the production
of a discussion paper or short abstract which will form the basis of
collaborative discussion after a short oral presentation. Additionally there is
the opportunity to submit a full paper for peer review and formal presentation.

SUBMISSION
OF ASBTRACTS/PAPERS
The workshop is part of a regular series of
forums focusing on various facets of information and communication technologies
within the context of travel and tourism. Full papers, either submitted
directly to the workshop or subsequently will be considered for, and given
scheduling priority for publication in the Journal of Information Technology
and Tourism (JITT) in the forthcoming special issue on ICT and Sustainable
Tourism.
Abstracts/Discussion Papers (3-4 pages maximum describing
the nature of the research) are required no later than 8th October
2010.
Full Papers (10-20 pages max) are required no
later than 1st October 2010
Each
submission should comprise; Title page including complete contact information
of author(s): name, affiliation, postal address, phone, fax, email and website
where relevant.
For full papers there will be a rolling
review and acceptance process.
COSTS
There is no fee for the workshop as the
sponsors are covering this, including catering on each day of the programme.
Numbers will, however, be limited to 30, beyond which there may be a small
administrative fee to cover costs.
